Privacy Policy
Last updated: 1 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data Lucid RF collects when you use this website (lucidrf.com) and TransWeave (transweave.lucidrf.com), why we collect it, who processes it for us, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
The controller of your personal data is LucidEM Ltd, trading as Lucid RF, registered at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at privacy@lucidrf.com.
Our services are intended for professional engineers. They are not directed at children, and you must be at least 16 years old to use them.
2. This website
Hosting and request logs
The website is hosted by Vercel. Like any web server, Vercel records technical request data (such as IP address, browser user agent, the page requested and the time) to deliver the site and keep it secure.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It sets no cookies and does not identify you: visits are counted using a hash of your IP address and user agent that changes daily and is not stored as such. We only see aggregate figures.
Contact and early-access forms
When you request early access, contact us or ask about our engineering services, you give us your name, email address, company, position and, if you choose, a description of what you are designing. The form is delivered to us by email through Resend. We use it to reply to you and to arrange access or services. We keep it for 7 days.
Fonts
Fonts are served by the website itself. Your browser makes no requests to third-party font services.
3. TransWeave
Using TransWeave as a guest
Without an account, TransWeave gives your browser a random identifier in a signed cookie. We use it to apply the guest run allowance and to limit abuse. It is not linked to your name or email. If you sign in from that browser, your guest runs and usage move to your account.
Accounts
When you create an account we process:
- your email address and, if you add one, a display name;
- if you sign in with Google, GitHub or Microsoft, your account identifier with that provider and the email address and name it shares with us;
- if you use passkeys, their public keys and the device names you give them (we never receive the private key);
- your sign-in sessions, which last 30 days, with the IP address and browser user agent they were created from;
- sign-in attempts, counted by IP address and email address, to protect against abuse.
Your designs and results
To run the service we store what you put into it: uploaded GDS files and layer definitions, models you build in the editor, your saved projects and their thumbnails, the runs you start (their settings and results), and files you download.
Where TransWeave runs
The website and storage run on Cloudflare (data stored in the Asia-Pacific region); simulations run on compute servers operated by LucidEM, which receive designs over encrypted connections.
The assistant
When you use the assistant (the AI command bar), your messages, the current state of your model in the editor and summaries of results it reads are processed by a third-party language model provider to produce a reply. The provider may use this data to train and improve its models. If you do not want your data used this way, do not use the assistant. For enterprise use, where assistant data is not used for training, contact us at sales@lucidrf.com. We keep only the number of messages you send.
Solve cache
When a run needs a numerical solve, TransWeave keeps the intermediate numerical data computed from the model (not your files) in a cache keyed by the model's content. If the same model is solved again, the cached data is reused instead of solving again. No user can see another user's data or results.
4. Why we use your data
- To provide the services you ask for: running TransWeave, your account, your projects and runs, and replying to your requests. Legal basis: performance of a contract with you, or steps you ask us to take before one.
- To keep the services secure and fair: request logs, sign-in rate limits, run allowances and abuse prevention. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure service.
- To understand how the website and TransWeave are used, in aggregate only. Legal basis: our legitimate interest.
- To meet legal obligations, where the law requires us to keep or disclose data.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
5. Who processes your data
We use the following service providers. Each processes data only on our instructions.
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting this website, request logs, page-view analytics | Global network |
| Resend | Delivering form submissions to us and sign-in code emails to you | United States |
| Cloudflare | Running the TransWeave website and storing its data: application, database and file storage, request logs, page-view analytics | Data stored in the Asia-Pacific region |
| Third-party language model provider | The assistant (see section 3) | Outside the UK and EU |
| Google, GitHub, Microsoft | Sign-in, only if you choose it | Per provider |
Some of these providers are outside your country, including outside the EU and UK. Where the law requires it, we rely on an adequacy decision or on the standard contractual clauses (with the UK addendum) in each provider's data processing agreement.
6. How long we keep it
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Contact and early-access form submissions | 7 days |
| Run settings, results and downloads | 30 days |
| Free view tasks | 1 hour |
| Solve cache | 1 day after last use for a guest, 30 days for an account; then deleted once no run refers to it |
| Projects | Until you delete them or your account |
| Run records and usage counts | Until you delete your account. For guests, until we remove inactive guest records, which we do periodically |
| Sign-in sessions | 30 days |
| Server and request logs | 30 days |
Deleting your account on the account page deletes your account, sessions, passkeys, projects, runs, their files and usage records at once. Cached solve data is deleted when no run refers to it any more.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- have it corrected;
- have it deleted. You can delete your TransWeave account and everything in it yourself on the account page;
- receive your data. You can download your designs and results from TransWeave as GDS and Touchstone/TDPS files. You can also ask us for a copy of your account data and projects in a machine-readable format.
- object to processing based on our legitimate interests, or ask us to restrict it;
- complain to your data protection authority.
To exercise a right, email privacy@lucidrf.com. We may need to confirm your identity first and will reply within the time the law requires.
9. Security
Connections to this website and to TransWeave are encrypted (HTTPS). Access to your data is limited to the systems and people who need it to run the services. Sign-in uses one-time email codes, passkeys or a provider you choose; we do not store passwords.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the date above. If a change materially affects how we use your data, we will tell account holders by email before it takes effect.
